EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' Eve Unwin will make a move on Suki Panesar next week, as they continue to grow closer.
Eve (Heather Peace) will become a support network for Suki in upcoming scenes, as she struggles with her ex-husband's impending release from prison.
Suki (Balvinder Sopal) recently confided in Eve that that her children's father Nishandeep was due to be released from jail, after serving time for murder.
Suki has hidden the news from the rest of her family but queried with Eve if she would be eligible for an order of protection. In turn, Eve told her that she would have to prove to a court that Nishandeep was a danger to the family.
Next week's episodes will see Suki continue to battle her fears over what's to come, while also clashing with her daughter Ash.
Suki's relationship with Ash will reach breaking point once again, when Ash refuses to give into her mum's orders to work at the new GP surgery.
Viewers know that Ash is determined to move to Canada, but Suki is hoping to persuade her otherwise and meets with newcomer Nina.
When Suki learns that Nina is dating Ranveer, she is left even more desperate than ever for Ash to work there and tries to bribe Ash her with a car.
Unsurprisingly, Suki's interference doesn't go down well with Ash and it's not long before they are at loggerheads all over again.
While this is going on, Stacey is preparing for another secret meeting at no.31 with Kheerat but they come close to be caught out when but Billy tells Suki that he has heard people inside.
Suki, Eve and Ash all go to check, leaving Kheerat shocked when he arrives to find the three women at the house – with Stacey hiding behind the sofa.
After coming up with a cover story, Kheerat leaves, and Ash uses the opportunity to confront Suki about her recent behaviour.
When Ash storms off, Suki believes she is alone with Eve and begins to confide in her about her emotionally abusive ex being released from prison any day.
As they chat, Eve spots Stacey hiding and does her best to keep Suki distracted.
Afterwards, Stacey interrogates Eve over Suki's ex-husband, just as she prepares to see Suki again.
Eve agrees to meet Suki for lunch and agrees that Stacey can tell Kheerat what's going on.
However, during the lunch, Eve feels a spark between them and rushes to stop Stacey from breaking Suki's confidence by talking to Kheerat.
Back at the Panesars', Eve continues to grow closer to Suki and leans in for a kiss, but how will Suki react?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday, June 30 at 7.30pm on BBC One. All episodes are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
