Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Nicola King faces another frightening incident next week as she remains traumatised following her attack.
Nicola was recently brutally assaulted by a gang of teenage girls, which led to her being rushed to hospital. She later discovered that the group responsible had filmed her ordeal and shared the video.
In next week's episodes, Nicola struggles to cope as she feels unsafe in her own home.
When there's a knock at the door, Nicola is visibly anxious as she shakes with fear. She's relieved when her guest turns out to be her sister Bernice Blackstock.

Later on, it becomes clear that Nicola doesn't want to be left alone at home as she desperately tries to stop her father Rodney Blackstock from leaving her.
Once Rodney is gone, Nicola pleads with Bernice to make a second visit.
Soon afterwards, there's more panic for Nicola when she's the only one available to pick the kids up from school.
Nicola reluctantly heads to her car to get the children, but thoughts of the attack are at the forefront of her mind.

In a moment of anxiety, Nicola becomes overwhelmed and slams on the accelerator of the car, accidentally colliding with David Metcalfe's van.
David is furious over the incident and demands Nicola's insurance details to make sure that he's reimbursed.
Nicola doesn't want to talk about it, so she rushes back home and locks the door.
David isn't giving up and he chases her for the details, as Nicola refuses to let him in.

Can anyone help Nicola in her time of need?
Nicola Wheeler, who plays Nicola, told Digital Spy and other media: "Nicola starts to relive the attack. It just creeps in. Then she becomes out of control, unfortunately finds her foot on the accelerator and hits the back of David's car.
"Understandably, David's cross. He comes out and shouts at her. It was clear that he was coming and she just didn't look.

"David shouts, because David has got his own stresses going on at this time. Obviously he doesn't realise the effect he's having on her.
"Nicola's behaviour is odd, but David just thinks that she's not accepting responsibility. He just thinks: 'Oh, she's not willing to pay. She's not willing to get me a new van, or get the insurance to pay for the damage'."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
