Warner Bros has announced the release date of Sex Education star Emma Mackey's new movie Emily.
The biopic covering the early life of iconic novelist and poet Emily Brontë will be coming out on October 14, 2022.
Last year, WB revealed its first look at the Death on the Nile star as the author of Wuthering Heights as she walks through the wild and windy moors in a blue dress.

Dunkirk's Fionn Whitehead will be starring alongside Mackey as Emily's brother, while The Lost Daughter star Oliver Jackson-Cohen will be Brontë's forbidden love Weightman.
The film will tell the imagined life of one of the world's most famous authors, with Mackey playing the rebel and misfit as she finds her voice and writes the literary classic Heights that would later be used in A-Level English.
Joining the cast are Alexandra Dowling (The Musketeers), Amelia Gething (The Spanish Princess), Gemma Jones (Bridget Jones and Gentleman Jack) and Line of Duty's Adrian Dunbar.
The Importance of Being Earnest and The Missing's Frances O'Connor will be making her directorial debut from a screenplay she wrote.

Mackey's stock is rising, as she is also starring opposite Margot Robbie in the upcoming Barbie movie for Warner Bros with her Netflix series co-star Ncuti Gatwa. We'll next see her in Martin Bourboulon's romantic French epic Eiffel.
Set in Paris in the 1880s, the film follows French engineer Gustave Eiffel (Romain Duris) as he embarks on the journey of designing and constructing one of the most popular and famous landmarks – the Eiffel Tower.
Finally, Mackey's popular streaming series Sex Education has been confirmed for a season four.
Sex Education seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix.
