Love Island fave admits she'd return for All Stars series

"I feel quite nostalgic towards it."

Love Island alum Liberty Poole enjoyed a great run in last year's series. She might not have walked away with a beau of her own but she did earn herself lots of new friends and a loyal fan base.

And, if given the chance, she'd go back and do it all again in a heartbeat.

The reality show's executive producer Mike Spencer has recently expressed interest in bringing back past Islanders from all seasons to participate in a new 'All Stars' version of the series.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com, Liberty admitted that she was feeling "nostalgic" about watching the new season and she's added that she'd love to give Spencer's idea a try.

"I actually would go into an All Stars to be fair," she said.

"It's kind of weird watching Love Island this year because I feel quite nostalgic towards it. When you see everyone going in, it's like 'Oh, that was me last year.'

"Obviously, it's a new villa, so it might have been even more weird if it was the villa from last year. But yeah, I would love to go back, I wish I was back for sure."

Poole spent 54 days in the villa on Love Island 2021 before she walked away days before the final after splitting with her then-boyfriend Jake Cornish.

Poole also touched upon her experience watching the new series with her friend and former co-star Kaz Kamwi, admitting that the pair have been laughing over the unfolding drama.

"I think it's quite funny because I think you see little hints of maybe they've been asked to go for this chat," she said.

"It's not staged. The producers can never tell you what to say, but they might say, 'Oh why don't you chat to so and so?' I think you can see little hints of it, and me and Kaz were laughing about it the other day."

Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and Britbox.
