To All the Boys I've Loved Before actor Jordan Fisher is heartbroken in Netflix's first trailer for Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between.
It's an adaptation of Jennifer E Smith's novel, focusing on high-schoolers Aidan and Clare (played by Talia Ryder, of Never Rarely Sometimes Always fame), who make a pact to end their relationship before going off to college.
On a final date night, the pair find themselves reflecting on their romance and retracing the exact steps that kicked it all off – bringing into question the cliché that high school sweethearts aren't destined to stay together.

As we can see in the trailer (viewable at the top of this article), Aidan and Clare's heartstring-tugging journey perfectly captures that sense of adolescent yearning and frustration.
"You both set the rules at the start, you can't be upset if she doesn't want to break them!" a friend stresses to Aidan, while Clare asks on the phone: "What if I'm throwing away, like, the best thing that ever happened to me?"
With Aidan clearly not keen on going through with this 'agreement', will his girlfriend see sense?

In other news pivoting from the To All the Boys universe, Lana Condor's new Netflix comedy Boo, Bitch also released its trailer this week.
A synopsis for this one reads: "Over the course of one night, a high school senior, who's lived her life safely under the radar, seizes the opportunity to change her narrative and start living an epic life, only to find out the next morning... she's a motherf**king ghost."
Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between hits Netflix on Wednesday, July 6.
